MEET THE TEAM
Pastor Freddy Rodriguez
Lead Pastor
Pastor Freddy was born in Colombia and has served at the Florida Conference as an Associate/Youth Pastor, specifically at Miami Central, Westchester, and Apopka SDA Churches. He also worked as Chaplain at Greater Miami Adventist Academy, and as the Associate Youth/Young Adults, and Pathfinder Director. Pastor Freddy completed a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, with a minor in Education, from Colombian Adventist University. He also holds a Master’s in Divinity, with an emphasis in Evangelism, from Andrews University and a Doctor of Ministry, emphasis in Pastoral Ministry, from Andrews University. He is happily married to Ruby Corniel, and they lovingly share two sons: Eduardo and Alejandro. His hobbies include bicycling, triathlons, and any outdoor activity with his family. He loves to eat and to share meals with family and friends, and is looking forward to the ultimate dining experience at Jesus’ table in heaven!
Pastor Brian Seewaldt
Associate Pastor For Youth & Young Adults
Pastor Brian was born in Argentina and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. He is married to beautiful and warmhearted Nanyvette. They met while studying at Antillean Adventist University, in Mayagüez, PR. He then pastored in a multiethnic church in Orlando, FL before being called to continue his studies. He later earned a Masters in Divinity from Andrews University.
Pr. Brian and Nanyvette enjoy reading, kayaking, finding new coffee shops, rooting for their favorite sports teams, and lounging around with their favorite golden retriever, Kylo.
Their drive for ministry moves them to avidly cultivate spaces where authentic relationships are grown and nurtured.
Pastor Vanessa Hairston
Associate Pastor For Worship
Pastor Vanessa is an energetic “Cuberican” who is a lover of all things Jesus, Jamil, and chocolate. Her wonderful husband, Pastor Jamil Hairston, is a valuable contributor to the worship family at Miami Temple and her biggest cheerleader. Pastor Vanessa studied elementary education for her undergraduate degree but felt the call to full-time ministry, so both she and her husband began their trek to Andrews University to study at the Seminary. She is passionate about the gospel, worship leading, and children’s ministry. The couple will welcome their first child in the fall.
